Provided strategic leadership for a $70M+ healthcare capital portfolio across six hospitals, guiding complex renovation, expansion, greenfield, and infrastructure initiatives from concept through delivery while ensuring alignment with operational priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.

Led planning and design development for a proposed 32,000-square-foot greenfield Type IIA research facility incorporating H-2 and H-3 hazardous-occupancy areas. Directed multidisciplinary coordination across mechanical, civil, structural, and process requirements, advanced long-lead equipment planning, and established the project’s commissioning and validation strategy before construction funding was deferred.

Designed and replaced an end-of-life chiller serving the cardiovascular operating rooms with an N+1 redundant system, adding desiccant dehumidification to hold seasonal humidity within compliance. Crane lifts executed safely with minimal impact to operations.

Led planning and execution of an MRI suite renovation within a fully operational hospital — structural reinforcement for the MRI's load and magnetic impact, plus specialized HVAC, shielding, and zone-based phasing under strict infection-control and patient-safety protocols.

Implemented CMMS systems, executed energy-efficiency upgrades, and led major equipment replacements (boilers, chillers, AHUs, cooling towers) and renovations across DOD medical treatment facilities.
